Job description

Outstanding opportunity for a full-time BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a national leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment, surgery, and research, providing personalized care to more patients and performing more advanced cardiac procedures than any other cardiac program in Connecticut.

Position Highlights:
  1. Lead the consultative cardiology inpatient service at Hartford Hospital working closely with clinical faculty and referring physicians.
  2. Responsibilities include evaluation of new admissions, collaborative in-hospital care/rounding, and transitional care for patients with heart-related conditions.
  3. Care for general cardiology patients and those with advanced cardiac needs, collaboratively, ensuring continuity of care.
  4. Engage in clinical, research, and teaching opportunities with fellows and the clinical cardiology team.
  5. Partner with a team of Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers and sub-specialists including Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, Interventional, Electrophysiology, and Cardiac Surgery.
  6. Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology certification is preferred.
  7. Join a physician-led medical group with best-in-class operations and a dedicated focus on addressing physician wellness.
