Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join the region's leading Cardiovascular program, ranked in the top 10% nationally for patient safety in heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care.

1. Join an established team with an Interventional Cardiologist and 6 Nurse Practitioners.
2. Share general cardiology call duties with 8 other Cardiologists.
3. Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm.
4. Clinic located within the doctor's building attached to the Medical Center for convenient access to the Cath Lab, ICU, and other facilities.
5. State-of-the-art Cath Lab with three reading rooms.
6. Robust Cardiac rehab program including pulmonary function testing.
7. Hospital features 56 ICU beds, including a 14-bed CVICU/progressive care unit.
8. This is a hospital-employed position.
9. No structural heart procedures are available in this role.
10. Access to two endovascular suites and open heart surgery suites.
11. DaVinci robotic surgical system available.
12. Call duties are shared equally among team members.
13. Clinic is on the hospital campus for easy access to the ED, surgical suites, and hospital services.
14. Support services include 24/7 Cardiology, Critical Care, and Interventional Radiology.
15. Dedicated Advanced Practice Providers assist in the OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate hospital rounds, and see post-op patients in the clinic.
16. Facility offers TAVR, EP Cardiology, and Watchman procedures.
17. Cardiothoracic APPs assist in the OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in the post-op clinic.
18. Strong referral base from primary care and cardiology sources.
19. Robust inpatient hospitalist service provides support for non-surgical illnesses.
