Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced Cardiologist to join our long-term, full-time team in Washington. The physician will cover outpatient clinics and take on call responsibilities, with hours from 7 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and additional on-call rotations.

Board-certified candidates with active license and BLS/ACLS are required; invasive skills and nuclear cardiology experience are valued but not mandatory. Credentialing may take up to 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology and hospital-based services, with call duties.
• Manage weeknight beeper calls and 24-hour weekend beeper calls.
• Work Monday to Friday for outpatient clinic with additional call rotations.
• Perform and interpret echocardiography and related imaging when required.

Description:This is a long-term, full-time assignment.

Coverage includes outpatient services and call responsibilities.

The call schedule involves weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call.

The schedule is Monday through Friday for outpatient clinic, with additional call rotation.

The provider will work eight-hour days from 7 AM to 5 PM.

A minimum of four weeks of shifts is required per month.

Providers typically encounter 15 patients per shift.

Invasive cardiology skills are preferred but not required.

Diagnostic catheterization skills are also preferred but not required.

Clean files are preferred for credentialing.

A 90-day credentialing timeframe is estimated.

This facility operates at a Level 3 trauma designation.

Specialty skills required include outpatient cardiology, inpatient cardiology, ICU care, and non-invasive procedures.

Echocardiography and transesophageal echo skills are required.

Nuclear cardiology experience, while required, does not include STEMI procedures.

Diagnostic invasive cardiology skills are preferred, along with expertise in cardiac catheterization.

Preferred skills also include angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology.

Experience in cardiac ablation, permanent pacemaker placement, and implantable cardioverter defibrillator placement is desired.
