Job summary

CompHealth is offering an outpatient cardiology opportunity in Metairie, LA. The role is 100% outpatient and non-invasive, with a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 am–5 pm) and no call or weekend shifts.

Proficiency in echocardiogram reading is required; all reads are done in-clinic with on-site services across multiple locations. A Louisiana license is preferred, and the position includes strong contract support and salary negotiation assistance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist with an active Louisiana license preferred.
• 100% outpatient, non-invasive cardiology with no hospital work.
• Proficiency in echocardiogram reading; echo reading done in-clinic.
• All services and tests performed on-site across multiple clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient cardiology evaluation and management.
• Read echocardiograms and coordinate with in-house referrals.
• Work in a multi-clinic on-site setting with physician support.

You will enjoy practicing in Metairie. It is the first suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, located on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain between the cities of New Orleans, with its wonderful French Quarter, Superdome, Aquarium, Zoo, and Convention Center, and Kenner, where the New Orleans International Airport, Rivertown, and the Pontchartrain Center are located.
