Job description

Job Description
Pediatric Cardiologist | Fetal Echocardiography | Lincoln, Nebraska

No call. Primarily ambulatory practice. An established local team with the resources of a comprehensive academic pediatric cardiology program behind you.

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in echocardiography and fetal echocardiography to join the Lincoln Specialty Clinic. • An established team: Join an experienced full-time pediatric cardiologist and APP rather than building a practice alone.
  • Primarily ambulatory practice: Build longitudinal relationships with patients and families, with opportunities for local NICU and inpatient consultation.
  • Fetal echo at the center of your practice: Transthoracic and fetal echocardiography, ECGs and Holters are performed onsite in Lincoln.
  • Academic resources without giving up a community-based practice: Remain based in Lincoln while staying connected to the subspecialty expertise and resources of the larger Children’s Nebraska pediatric cardiology program.
  • Keep growing in the areas that interest you: Opportunities to rotate at the Children’s Nebraska main campus in Omaha can provide additional involvement in inpatient cardiology, echocardiography and the exercise stress lab.
