Job summary

Hawai‘i Pacific Health seeks a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to join the island's only cardiology team on Oahu, delivering comprehensive interventional care. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in a collaborative environment.

You’ll perform a full range of procedures including coronary angiography and PCI, participate in STEMI call coverage, interpret advanced cardiac imaging, and work with surgeons, EPs, APPs, and nursing

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology care including evaluation, diagnosis and management.
• Perform coronary angiography, PCI and other catheter-based therapies.
• Participate in STEMI call coverage and manage complex emergencies.
• Interpret advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic studies (echo, stress tests, cardiac CT/MRI).
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, EPs, APPs and nursing leadership to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical pathways and evidence-based practices.

About the Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to join the only Cardiology team on the island of Oahu, providing the best cardiovascular care.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology care , including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.




• Perform a full range of interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other catheter‑based therapies.




• Participate in STEMI call coverage and manage complex cardiovascular emergencies in collaboration with the hospital’s cardiology and emergency medicine teams.




• Interpret advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic studies , including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac CT/MRI (as applicable to scope and credentials).




• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team , including cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, and nursing leadership to ensure optimal patient outcomes.




• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical pathway development, and evidence‑based best practices within the cardiovascular service line.
