Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Cardiologist for a temporary locum tenens assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The 1-week engagement offers coverage of clinic and call duties with potential extension.

Responsibilities include performing EKG, TEE, Echo, PCI stent placement, and STEMI care, using Epic EMR for documentation. License requirements: active ND license or LOQ; board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active North Dakota license or LOQ (Letter of Qualification) required.
• Experience with Epic EMR for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic and call coverage during assigned dates.
• Manage a variable patient load including elective procedures and inpatient/outpatient needs.
• Perform procedures such as EKG, TEE, Echo, PCI stent placement, STEMIs.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation.
• Coordinate with APP staff during weekday hours 8:30am–4:30pm.
• Maintain ND license or LOQ and comply with credentialing timelines.

Job Title: Cardiologist

Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota

Schedule: 6:00AM - 6:00AM x 1

Term: 1-week assignment with the potential for extension.

Pay Rate: $260 - $280/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 1-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:

• Provide clinic and call coverage during assigned dates
• Manage a variable patient/caseload including elective procedures, inpatient needs, and outpatient services
• Perform required procedures including EKG, TEE, Echo, PCI stent placement, and STEMIs
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
• Work alongside APP staff during weekday hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm
• Maintain active North Dakota License or active IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Must be Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Commit to at least two stretches of assigned coverage dates
• Adhere to a 45-day credentialing timeline requirements
• Maintain a clean background with no dismissed, named, or other cases
