Essentia Health in Fargo, ND seeks a Board-C certified/eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 1.0 FTE position in a well‑established, surgeon‑led program. You will work within a medially directed care model with CRNAs, focusing on robust structural heart cases including TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip.

The practice supports a broad case mix across cardiac, vascular, neuro, ortho, OB, trauma, and pediatrics in a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. 3.5 hours from Minneapolis.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Approximately 140-150 pump cases per year with additional 70-80 other cases by CT surgeons
• Robust structural heart program including TAVR's, Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures
• Approximately 1530 cases per month in cath lab and EP lab
• Includes ability to practice General, Trauma, Ortho, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Peds, and Regional
• Well-established group of 12 anesthesiologists
• Medically directed care model working with CRNAs
• Practice at:
  • Essentia Heath Fargo – 133 bed hospital – Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE in Anesthesia
• Cardiac Fellowship and advanced TEE Certification

LOCATION

• Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota
• 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul
• Fargo-Moorhead population: 224,000
• Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals

COMPENSATION

$660, 672. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
