Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Boardman, Ohio seeks a Family Medicine physician to provide comprehensive primary care across all ages. You will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, while leading patient-centered care with a collaborative team.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients on prevention, and maintain up-to-date electronic health records. Ohio licensure or the ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree with directly related experience in Family Medicine or Community Health.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine.
  • DEA Certificate is required.
  • Ohio licensure or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including exams, diagnoses, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history and records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients about preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Advise patients on long-term treatment and chronic disease management.
  • Complete all documentation and paperwork timely.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR).
  • Stay informed about latest medical advancements and primary care standards.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and medical records.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
  4. Educate patients about preventative care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
  5. Advises patients about long-term treatment and management for chronic illnesses.
  6. Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to date patient records using electronic health records systems.
  8. Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, research, and the best primary care.
