Griffin Health in Derby, CT is seeking a Physician Billing Representative to ensure accurate and timely billing and accounts receivable management for physician services. This on-site role supports the revenue cycle by handling claim holds, denials, aging accounts, and patient billing inquiries while complying with policies and regulatory requirements.

• Previous physician billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• On-site role in Derby, CT.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve claim holds, manager holds, and denials on a daily basis.
• Review and work accounts receivable using AR aging processes on a daily basis.
• Process missing slips and submit claims accurately and promptly.
• Collect patient copayments and establish payment plans when applicable.
• Answer telephone inquiries promptly and relay accurate messages to patients and offices.
• Greet patients and visitors, assist with billing questions in a courteous, professional manner.
• Communicate with physicians and offices regarding outstanding missing slips.
• Perform other duties as needed.
