AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Family Practice Physician to provide evidence-based adult primary healthcare at 88th Medical Group, Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. The physician will provide the full range of services authorized by MTF clinical privileges while supporting patient outcomes, community wellness, and military medical readiness.
M.D. or D.O. from an appropriately approved/accredited medical school. Foreign medical graduates must provide appropriate ECFMG certification. Education equivalency substitutions are not permitted.
Must be board certified in the appropriate specialty by an ABMS- or AOA-recognized board and maintain active board certification throughout employment.
Current, full, and unrestricted physician license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia.
Must meet the BLS requirement and applicable certification requirements.
DEA registration number required and a 10-digit NPI is required.
Monday-Friday, 0730-1630, including a 1-hour lunch. No on-call requirement. The position is authorized up to 260 overage hours per year when services beyond regularly scheduled duty hours are required. Federal holidays are non-duty days.
This position works in the Family Health Clinic at the 88th Medical Group, providing outpatient adult primary care in a military healthcare environment. The physician works with other healthcare professionals to manage preventive, acute, and chronic healthcare needs.
Must meet occupational health, physical examination, immunization/vaccination, and TB screening requirements. Must complete required DHA/MTF training, credentialing and privileging and meet applicable security/background investigation and CAC requirements.
