Job summary

MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in North Conway, NH, seeks a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Hospitalist team on a Per Diem basis. You will admit patients, round daily, handle acute visits and discharges, and order and interpret lab tests using the fully integrated Epic EMR.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree with PA/NP board certification, NH license or eligibility, BCLS & ACLS, and 2+ years of hospitalist or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program with a Master’s Degree.
• Current Board Certification as a PA or NP.
• Active State of NH PA/NP license or eligible.
• Current BCLS & ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of hospitalist or critical care experience preferred.

MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is seeking a Physician Associate (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-C) to join the Hospitalist team to work Per Diem at Memorial Hospital, a critical access hospital located in North Conway, NH. Practitioners are responsible for admissions, daily rounding, acute visits and discharges of patients as well as ordering and interpreting laboratory data. Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master’s Degree level of education.
• Current Board Certification as a PA/NP.
• Active State of NH PA/NP license or eligible.
• Current BCLS & ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of hospitalist or critical care experience preferred.

Pay Rate -internal candidates who currently hold a full-time or part-time role at MaineHealth, the pay rate is 120% of their current hourly rate and may be eligible for shift differentials. For external candidates or candidates who only hold per diem roles at MaineHealth, the pay rate is $80.00 per hour and may be eligible for shift differentials.
