NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant for a Hospitalist - Rotating role in the Bronxville, NY area. The PA will manage inpatient care, assess acute needs, and coordinate patient care across the service line with a rotating schedule.

The successful candidate will have a NYS PA license, NCCPA certification, and BLS/ACLS. A master’s degree and inpatient medicine experience are preferred. This on-site position supports NYP Westchester with weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualificações

• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Responsibilities

You will manage all aspects of care for the service line including assessing inpatients for all acute needs while providing quick compassionate floor coverage. As a Rotating Hospitalist PA, you will be moving care forward collaboratively by addressing all acute patient needs. You will be in charge of patient assessments, ordering, handoff, and assisting in coordination of all care as able. Our PAs are leaders in providing high quality innovative care to patients and their families. You will be a part of a growing dynamic team of PAs and have your hand at shaping the future of patient care.

Preferred Criteria

• Master’s degree in physician assistant studies
• Previous PA experience in Inpatient Medicine

Work Details

Shift: Full Time, Rotating 12.5 hours shifts, includes weekends and holidays. This position is located at NYP Westchester in Bronxville.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $161,000-$210,000/Annual
