Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Fort Worth is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team. The role combines outpatient clinic work with some inpatient duties, including assisting in the OR, with a heavier emphasis on outpatient care.

You will manage outpatient vascular patients, perform pre/postoperative care, and collaborate with the vascular surgeon to deliver high-quality patient care. The schedule is five days per week with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Texas PA licensure
• 2+ years of vascular/surgical experience
• Experience managing outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and OR assistance
• Strong clinical skills and communication
• Graduate of an Accredited PA program
• More than 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient vascular surgery patients (≥3 clinic days per week)
• Conduct pre- and post-operative care, follow-ups, and new patient consults
• Round on inpatients and assist in the OR
• Collaborate closely with the vascular surgeon and team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, clinical notes, and patient education

Baylor Scott & White Health – Fort Worth is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Vascular Surgery team. This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic and OR responsibilities, with a heavier emphasis on outpatient care while the physician focuses on surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for an APP looking to work in a dynamic, growing vascular practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient vascular surgery patients (at least 3 clinic days per week)
• Conduct pre- and post-operative care, follow-ups, and new patient consults
• Round on inpatients and assist in the OR
• Collaborate closely with the vascular surgeon and team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, clinical notes, and patient education

Qualifications

• PA licensure in Texas
• 2+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred (vascular, surgical, or related specialty)
• Comfortable managing outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assisting in the OR
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and collaborative mindset
• Ed. Grad of an Accredited Program
• More than 1 Year of Experience

Schedule & Compensation

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Weekday and weekend rounding on rotation with another APP
• Additional pay provided for after-hours and weekend coverage
• Average patient census: 12
