Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant - First Assist to join the Vascular Surgery Specialists team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, on-site role focusing on assisting in the OR, vein harvesting, and providing care for advanced heart and vascular patients.

The ideal candidate has operating room experience and vein harvesting experience, and holds a PA license with BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited PA program.
• More than 1 year of vein harvesting experience.
• PA license and BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Operating room experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• First assist in vascular and cardiology surgeries
• Perform vein harvesting procedures
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Support inpatient and outpatient care, patient education, and follow-up
• Participate in clinical rounds and documentation

About the Role:

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant - First Assist to join our Vascular Surgery Specialists team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position supporting advanced heart and vascular care, with a primary focus on assisting in the OR, including vein harvesting and other surgical procedures. The ideal candidate must have prior operating room experience , preferably with vein harvesting , and a strong interest in cardiology and vascular surgery. You will play a vital role in delivering minimally invasive treatments and surgical therapies in a high-volume, collaborative, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• First assist in vascular and cardiology surgeries
• Perform vein harvesting procedures
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Support inpatient and outpatient care, patient education, and follow-up
• Participate in clinical rounds and documentation
