NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Surgical ICU, Burn ICU and Trauma teams on a rotating schedule.

The PA will provide autonomous, evidence-based care for critically ill surgical and burn patients within a multidisciplinary team at a world-class Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• NYS licensure and NCCPA certification
• BLS/ACLS and DEA and ATLS certifications

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a Level I Trauma Center.

Location: New York, New York

Shift

Rotating (United States of America)

Work Schedule: Three 12.5 hour rotating shifts.

Experience autonomy and camaraderie unique to our Physician Assistant team. Practice the art and science of evidence-based medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Become a part of this 24/7 run Surgery PA service in a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center. We are seeking a PA to join our Surgery/Critical Care team. This position will be shared between the Surgical ICU, Burn ICU and Trauma service lines. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment caring for critically ill patients with complex surgical, medical and burn injuries.

Preferred Criteria

• Background in Surgery
• Critical care experience
• Strong new graduates with a demonstrated passion for managing surgical critical care patients are encouraged to apply
