The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time and focused on excellent patient care.

Position details: Located at UCHealth Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic - Colorado Springs; schedule is Monday–Friday with one weekend every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician assistant services as part of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic team.

Requirements For Physician Assistants

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
• Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) required for hire and maintained during employment
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly prescribed in practice
• Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
• Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
• Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Experience

• Surgery First Assistant experience required; Plastic and reconstructive surgery experience is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation package: $104,418 – $149,142 annually (dependent on experience)
