Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Denver, CO is seeking Per Diem Physician Assistants for Level II/III NICU coverage and 24-hour inhouse shifts. The role attends high-risk deliveries, rounds well-newborns, and provides NICU support as needed.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, CO active license or eligibility, and NCCPA certification, plus at least 3 years’ post-graduate NICU experience. This W-2 per diem position includes travel reimbursements.

• Per diem team members are W-2 employees with travel reimbursements.

• Provides downtime coverage to 23-Hour NNP in level III NICU for 2-4 hours in the afternoon.
• Current Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree
• CO Active License or Elig to Obtain CO License
• Minimum of 3 Year's Post Graduate Experience in Level II/Level III NICU (New Grads not eligible)
• Hands On Experience in Ob/Gyn and/or Neonatology in Hospital Setting

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.

Compensation: The pay for this position starts at $ 65.00/hour
