Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking a Physician Assistant to support a surgical team in our Ohio facility. The PA will assist the surgeon during operations, including closing incisions, and participate in joint replacement procedures.

The center operates Monday through Friday with no on-call requirements, holidays, or weekend shifts; confidentiality and professionalism are essential. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and able to multitask and lead in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician assistant program required; non-restricted DEA for OH.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• 3-5 years' work experience; spine surgery preferable.
• Ability to read/write English, use computer software, and operate patient care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during surgery, including closing of the incision.
• Work with surgeons on joint replacement surgeries.
• Center operates Monday–Friday; no call, holidays, or weekends.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physician assistant program required, and non-restricted DEA for the state of OH.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• 3-5 years' work experience required. Experience with spine surgery is preferable.
• Able to read; write legibly; speak in English, with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
• Able to perform any other tasks as assigned.
