Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• South Carolina state medical license through the local medical licensing office and/or board of Medical Examiners is required.
• CPR and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnosis and treatment for common acute illnesses and maintenance health care for stable chronic illnesses.
• Maintains accurate patient charts/records and ensures proper documentation.
• Applies preventive care, disease prevention guidance, and health maintenance counseling.
• Performs comprehensive health assessments and orders appropriate tests and referrals.
• Participates in continuing education to maintain and increase competency.
