Job summary

OIC Family Medical Center in Rocky Mount, NC, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. You will provide advanced primary care services within an FQHC setting, coordinating care and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive histories and physicals, ordering tests, prescribing treatments, and supporting transitions between care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• APRN licensure and NC medical examiner licensure.
• Ongoing continuing education required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health care for patients following state and federal rules.
• Perform history and physicals for complex patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Support patient physiologic stability; first assisting role.
