Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a Physician Assistant to evaluate, diagnose and provide patient care under physician supervision in a community-focused setting. You will perform exams, develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as delegated by the supervising physician.

Requirements include a Master’s degree from an ARC‑PA accredited program, CA/HI licensure, CPR/BLS (ACLS preferred) and clinic/hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an ARC–PA accredited PA program is required.
• Two years of primary care or allied health experience is preferred.
• PA licensure in the state of practice is required in CA and HI.
• CPR or BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses and provides patient care under supervision.
• Performs physical exams, develops treatment plans and counsels patients.
• Orders tests and interprets results to guide treatment decisions.
• Assists with hospital admissions and discharges per physician direction.
• Mentors and leads staff in a patient care setting.
