Job summary

South Central Primary Care Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary health care under the supervision of a physician. You will examine patients, diagnose illnesses, order tests, and treat a wide range of conditions for children, adults, and families.

The role includes managing acute and chronic illnesses, performing physicals, counseling patients, and supporting preventive care and immunizations. Telehealth and in-person care may be provided as required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, evaluate, and manage acute and chronic illness.
• Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.
• Provide prenatal care and family planning services.
• Offer well-care and immunizations, and primary care for adults.
• Assist in minor surgeries and procedures.
• Educate patients on health behaviors and treatment options.
• Support telehealth and in-person health services as needed.
