Primary Medicine PA– Adult Outpatient Preventive Care

Location: Seattle (Renton, WA – King County, Seattle Metro). Setting: Community Behavioral Health Center – Adult Outpatient Health & Wellness. Start Date: ASAP. Schedule: 2 days per week, ideally Monday & Tuesday (flexible). Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. onsite (30–60 min lunch). Onsite Only: Yes. EMR: Athena. Contract Type: Ongoing long‑term contractor position.

Opportunity Overview

A community‑based behavioral health and wellness center in Renton, WA is seeking an experienced Primary Care PA to provide adult‑only outpatient preventive care and chronic disease management. This role supports continuity of care for an adult population within a collaborative, mission‑driven environment. The schedule begins at 2 days per week, with the potential to expand based on patient care needs and provider productivity. Ideal days are Monday and Tuesday, but the center can be flexible.

Clinical Details

Patient Population: Adults only (18+).

Daily Volume: ~18–20 patients per day.

Clinical Focus:

• Preventive health services
• Chronic illness management (HTN, diabetes, COPD, etc.)
• Wellness and health maintenance
• Integrated care within a behavioral health setting

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive adult outpatient preventive care
• Manage chronic medical conditions
• Maintain a daily caseload of 18–20 patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on whole‑person wellness
• Document and coordinate care using Athena EMR
• Maintain high‑quality, patient‑centered clinical standards
