Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to deliver primarily remote palliative care. You will triage, educate, and coordinate care via video visits, with in-person coverage when needed. The role emphasizes empathetic communication, meticulous documentation, and teamwork within the palliative care team.

Per diem schedule, daytime shifts, and a focus on patient-centered care in a remote setting. NYS-licensed PAs with NCCPA certification preferred.

• Patient Care. Provide primarily remote care to palliative care patients, responding to triage needs and more urgent concerns through video visits.
• Patient Satisfaction. Communicate with patients and families with empathy and understanding, providing education, support, and guidance related to their care.
• Care Coordination. Collaborate with the palliative care team to assess patient needs, provide appropriate recommendations, and coordinate care.
• In-Person Coverage. Complete required in-person training and provide occasional in-person coverage for vacation and sick-call needs.

PAY RANGE

PAY RANGE: $65.00 - $65.00
