Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Bronxville, NY is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for Cardiovascular Medicine on a per diem basis. You will manage hospital consultations, perform histories and exams, and oversee periprocedural care while coordinating transfers and contributing to innovative patient care.

The role requires NYS PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and BLS/ACLS, with 12.5 hour shifts including weekends and holidays. On-site presence is required at NYP Westchester.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cardiology teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Physician Assistant – PA – Cardiovascular Medicine-Per Diem

As a Physician Assistant in this combined and highly autonomous role, you will manage all aspects of care for the service lines including assessing hospital consultations, performing history and physical examinations, providing periprocedural management, assisting in coordination of transfers, and be a leader in providing high-quality innovative care to patients and their families.

Shift: Per Diem, Rotational 12.5 hours shifts, includes weekends and holidays.

This position is located atNYP Westchester in Bronxville.

PreferredCriteria

• Previous PA experience in Interventional Cardiology/Cardiovascular Medicine
• Open to ICU or Critical Care experience

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• New York StatePhysician Assistant.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Certified Life Support (ACLS)
