Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-based team at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia. The role involves inpatient hospital coverage, rounds, and patient counseling for medical treatments and procedures.

New graduates are welcome; GI experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be computer literate and able to operate Practice Management software and multiple Microsoft Office applications, while upholding HIPAA confidentiality

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required: MSPA or MSN/NP.
• GI experience preferred, but not required.
• Eligible for Georgia licensure as PA or NP.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospital coverage and rounds.
• Counsel patients with information for medical treatment or procedures.
• Dictate hospital consults and manage referrals.
• Answer emails/voicemails and return patient calls promptly.
