Lyle Health - Healthcare Recruitment Experts is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join a renowned neurology team in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. You will work with fellowship-trained neurologists to provide high-quality patient care while enjoying a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in neurology or other relevant fields.
• Clinical rotations in neurology.
• Must obtain Minnesota PA or NP license.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and rapport with patients and families.

Responsabilités

• 4 or 5 days per week with 8 or 10 hour shifts (flexible).
• 32 to 40 hours per week (flexible).
• No nights and no weekends.
• Perform histories and physicals for acute and chronically ill neurological patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to age-specific needs.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Collaborate with the primary neurologist for each patient.
• Perform office procedures such as trigger point injections and occipital nerve blocks.

Responsibilities

• 4 or 5 days per week with 8 or 10 hour shifts (flexible)

• Function independently to perform histories and physicals for acute and chronically ill neurological patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to the patient's age-specific needs
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment modalities
• Collaborate with the primary neurologist of each patient
• Perform office procedures including trigger point injections and occipital nerve block

Qualifications

• Experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in neurology or other relevant fields
• Relevant clinical rotations in neurology
• Ability to obtain Minnesota PA or NP license
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and families
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly completive base salary plus bonuses
