Job summary

McLeod Orthopaedics Florence is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic team in Florence, South Carolina. You will perform exams, develop care plans, coordinate with physicians, and provide patient education in a team-focused setting.

Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and SC PA certification with prescriptive privileges or eligibility. This position offers opportunities within a multidisciplinary orthopedic practice.

• Records physical findings, and formulates plans and prognosis, based on patient’s condition.
• Plans, implements, and coordinates care to meet the holistic age-specific needs of patients.
• Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
• Demonstrates professionalism and integrity.
• Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
• Discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
