Job summary

HealthCare Recruitment Counselors is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a private practice in the greater Boston area. The position is 2–3 days per week in MA with injections and orthopedic focus.

Office locations include Weymouth and Lowell, with a concierge patient experience and collaborative team of clinicians. The ideal candidate will have PA/NP training, MA license, and experience with joint injections; orthopedics or musculoskeletal background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• MA license in MA.
• Experience with joint and trigger point injections preferred.
• Orthopedic/Physical Medicine and Rehab or Family Medicine background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive orthopedic/musculoskeletal exams (HPI, physical exam, imaging review).
• Order and review tests/imaging; read MRI and X-rays.
• Develop and implement diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Provide patient education on diagnoses and options.
• Perform joint and trigger point injections (training provided).
• Coordinate with Supervisory physician as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Waltham MA Part time | 2 days per week |$700/day

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice 2-3 days per week in MA splitting coverage between our office in Weymouth and Lowell. We are a physical medicine office, and we utilize natural regenerative cellular therapies to treat our patients acute and chronic pain and injuries. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner duties include joint and trigger point injections. Ideally, the incoming provider has experience in orthopedics and preferably has experience with joint injections and musculoskeletal conditions.

Duties:

• Patient exams/consultations- orthopedic/musculoskeletal (HPI, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/reports)
• Evaluate Clinical Data
• Order and review appropriate tests/imaging/records- read and interpret MRI and X-rays
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Patient education as to diagnosis and treatment plan options
• Consultation with the Supervisory physician as needed
• Documentation- timely and accurate
• Treatments to include Joint and trigger point injections (training will be provided)
• Assist in the direction of the management of the patient’s care

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• PA/NP license in MA
• Experience in Joint and Trigger point injections preferred
• Orthopedic/ Physical Med and Rehab or Family medicine background is preferred

Schedule:

• 2-3-day work week
