Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our occupational medicine team in Yuma, AZ. This role emphasizes independent decision-making and leadership, coaching staff, and advancing quality patient care.

PRN/flexible clinic schedule with Monday–Friday hours in a busy center. You will participate in telemedicine, participate in pursuing new services, and ensure documentation and coding accuracy to support high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Unrestricted PA/NP license or license in progress
• Current BLS certification required
• NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

• Evaluate and treat occupational medicine patients in clinic and via telemedicine
• Establishes and monitors appropriate level of care for patients
• Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift
• Works with Center Medical Director to ensure standards of care
• Recommends growth opportunities for new or existing services
• Meets with Medical Director to discuss quality of patient care and policies
• Maintains and cultivates relationships with clients and payers
• Masters use of clinical systems for efficiency and accurate coding

Schedule

PRN- We’re open to your availability within the clinic schedule of Monday- Friday, 8 AM- 7 PM

Compensation

Starting compensation range is $70.00- $85.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat occupational medicine patients in clinic and through telemedicine services in accordance with Agile’s clinical standards and protocols.
• Establishes and monitors appropriate level of care for patients
• Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift
• Works with Center Medical Director to ensure operations are consistent with medical and professional standards of care and professional PA/NP association
• Recommends potential growth opportunities for new or existing services within the Center
• Meets with Medical Director or designate to discuss quality of patient care, review policies, procedures, outcomes reports, and records
• Calls client representatives following employee treatment for initial injury and/or at any significant change in status
• In the absence of Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical personnel and center colleagues
• Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, appropriate and optimal coding levels, charge capture, and follow through on all patient care orders
• Ensures compliance with individual State Practice Act, and Workers’ Compensation regulations
• Maintains and cultivates relationships with center clients and payers while responding to requests within 24 hours
• Works with medical and clinical leadership to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies that will optimize patient satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies
• Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition
• Promotes center initiatives and workflows that are consistent with those in other centers
• Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies

Requirements

Education/Credentials
