Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for opportunities in the Eureka area to deliver high-quality patient care in Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers.

This role offers a competitive base salary with performance bonuses, day‑one benefits including PTO, CME, and comprehensive coverage, plus relocation assistance and a PSLF‑eligible, supportive work environment with Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• 18 months of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult populations
• Comfort with minor procedures (suturing, casts, splints)
• PA: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required
• NP: Master’s degree and AANC or AANP certification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in urgent care centers
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and support staff
• Perform and interpret basic procedures and imaging reads as needed

• Daily Volume Bonus: This bonus is paid monthly and based on patient visit metrics met per shift – to reward you on those busier days!

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants: Minimum 18 months of full‑time experience (as a NP or PA) in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
• Experience in treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), Preliminary reads on EKGs, and X‑rays (required)
• Physician Assistants: Master's degree and NCCPA Certification is required
• Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
