Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedics
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $110,000–$150,000 per year
A highly regarded orthopedic group in the Greater Atlanta area is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its established and respected practice. The team is known for its patient-centered care, excellent clinical outcomes, and strong reputation across the region.
This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced orthopedic surgeons while maintaining a balanced Monday–Friday schedule in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Overview
- Focus on upper extremity orthopedics
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Review imaging, assist with procedures (injections, aspirations, splinting, dressing changes), and manage post‑op care
- Coordinate surgeries and pre‑authorizations
- Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and prevention
- Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Typically four clinic days and one surgical day per week (flexible based on experience and preference)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Active Georgia license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of orthopedic experience preferred
- Upper extremity or hand experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
