Concentra On-Site Occupational Medicine / Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner PRN
Schedule: Monday - Friday 5AM - 6PM (flexibility within these times); PRN coverage 1-3 days per week
Hourly Rate: $70 - $80
We are seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our client's on-site Occupational Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a PA/NP in an urgent care/occupational medicine setting and will be DOT-certified. Scope of care includes Occupational Medicine: work-related injuries and follow-up care, non-injury physicals, and ancillary services; Personal Health Services: acute personal healthcare and chronic condition counseling; and Wellness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Spends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
- Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes.
- Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age-appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction.
- Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity.
- Provides direct patient care through compilation of the medical history, conduction of the physical exam, diagnosis, and the development of appropriate treatment plans.
- Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
- Maintains timely, accurate and detailed patient records and paperwork.
- Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
- Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
- Listens to and understands internal and external client needs.
- Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of clinical care.
- Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
- Provides excellent and compassionate customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
Education/Credentials
Major:
Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
- Bachelors’ degree in related health field from an accredited college or university
- Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program) / Masters of Science in Nurse Practitioner Studies (graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program)
Certifications and/or Licenses:
- Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE), or NP equivalent
- Current licensed physician assistant / nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
- Must maintain work state licensure throughout the course of employment

- Customarily has at least two to three years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting
