Moffitt seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Surgical Inpatient team for night shift, PRN coverage. The role supports postoperative and inpatient care under MMG supervision, focusing on oncology patients and complex wounds, with autonomy and collaboration across care providers.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida license, certification, BLS and ACLS, and have experience in oncology or internal medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Graduate of a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse program.
• Active FL medical license and national certification.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA approved) required.

Responsabilités

• Assists physicians with evaluation and management of postoperative/inpatient patients.
• Responds to inpatient consults and coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Formulates treatment plans and may perform minor procedures within scope of practice.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications as appropriate.

Particular knowledge and care of these wounds is beneficial.* The inpatient care will also include discharge planning and management under the guidance of the attending. This position will work closely with Residents and Fellows to care for the patients.* This position will also attend to inpatient consults as requested. Assessment and escalation are critical components of this position.**Credentials and Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse program.* Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and national certification by the appropriate accreditation body.* Active BLS and ACLS. (Must be AHA approved)* Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; previous specific experience preferred.**Salary Range**$131,892.80 - $201,052.80*Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
