MNGI Digestive Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Maple Grove location. This full-time, salaried role offers 0.8 FTE, 0.9 FTE, or 1.0 FTE options and works in collaboration with a gastroenterologist to provide high-quality GI care in a hospital and clinic setting.
The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, chronic GI disease management, coordination of inpatient and outpatient services, and efficient use of EMR systems.
Provides gastroenterology health care to individuals, evaluating health problems and instituting therapy in collaboration with a MNGI gastroenterologist and/or referring for other care. Looking for an Advanced Practice Provider interested in a 0.8 FTE, 0.9 FTE or 1.0 FTE. This position would work mainly out of our Maple Grove MNGI Digestive Health location, along with the hospital.

Qualification Requirements: At minimum, must have one of the following degrees:
Certifications/Licenses: Certified Nurse Practitioner license or Certified Physician Assistant license is required. Must maintain a BLS certification.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, sit, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and may be required to stand for long periods of time. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to use dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, other clinic equipment, and to possibly perform phlebotomy. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to lift and transport items up to 50 pounds. Employees may be required to travel to other company locations due to staffing and training needs.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee works in a clinical environment and may be exposed to hazardous chemicals or conditions including exposure to blood or other body fluids. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training will be provided. The employee is exposed to a computer monitor daily. The employee may be required to travel by automobile and exposed to changing weather conditions while performing the duties of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be alert to conditions that may impact the safety of patients, employees and visitors.
