Job summary

Dermdox is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dermatology team in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time role with no call or weekend responsibilities, supported by medical assistants, and includes full benefits and an exceptional compensation package.

Responsibilities include patient screening, history taking, ordering labs, diagnosing dermatologic conditions, managing treatments, and optional cosmetic procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid PA license in Pennsylvania.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• DEA license.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Analytical thinking and proficient with clinical technology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be supported by medical assistants handling admin work and setup for procedures.
• Screen patients to determine need for medical attention.
• Review patient records, take history, and order labs and diagnostics.
• Diagnose common dermatologic conditions and manage treatments.
• Order and dispense prescribed medications; perform skin cancer screenings.

Overview

Dermdox is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our staff. This is a full-time position, but will interview part-time candidates as well, with no call or weekend responsibilities. We offer full benefits plus an exceptional compensation package.

Responsibilities

• You will be supported by one or two medical assistants who take care of all the administrative work involved in the patient encounter as well as set up and clean up for all procedures
• Screen patients to determine need for medical attention
• Review patient records to determine health status
• Take a patient history
• Order appropriate laboratory studies and diagnostic testing
• Identify normal and abnormal findings on history, physical examination and commonly performed laboratory studies
• Diagnosis of common dermatologic conditions, both benign and malignant
• Make decisions regarding appropriate management and treatment of patients including treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions
• Order and dispense prescription medication
• Perform skin cancer screenings
• There is the option to include cosmetic procedures if interested
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education, Skills, and Experience:
