Agence PROvidence's neuroscience group in Southern California is seeking a full-time physician assistant to support four neurosurgeons, mainly during overnight hours at St. Joseph Orange and St. Jude Fullerton.

This highly autonomous role emphasizes continuity of care and nocturnal patient management. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary inpatient team, assist in the OR, and provide care across two hospital ministries with 12-hour shifts and varied weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of PA experience, Neurosurgery experience ideal.
• Nocturnal/overnight coverage experience is preferred.
• Licensed PA in California or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnal care across two hospital sites (Orange and Fullerton).
• Assist in the operating room for neurosurgery cases.
• Support four neurosurgeons with inpatient management and care coordination.

Join an outstanding Neurosurgery group as a full-time physician assistant with Providence Saint Joseph's Heritage Medical Group in Fullerton & Orange, California. This is a highly autonomous position where you will be providing care across 2 locations -- St. Joseph Orange & St. Jude Fullerton. We are seeking an APC to support our four surgeons, with a primary focus on providing nocturnal coverage across two hospital ministries in Orange County. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of care, timely patient management, and comprehensive clinical support during overnight hours.

Here, you can expect to address medical and surgical patient illnesses associated with neurosurgery patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an inpatient setting. • Join 2 established teams at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange and St. Jude in Fullerton

• Primarily Nocturnal (12-hour) shifts; schedule will vary

• This position is assisting in the OR

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a PA required; Neurosurgery experience is ideal

• Compensation is between $180,700 and $249,157 per year

• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above
