Job summary

Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Urology department. You will assist physicians in clinic and hospital rounds, perform comprehensive assessments, and manage patient care using EMR documentation.

The role requires NYS licensure with 1–5 years of related experience; work is full-time in an exempt, salaried setting in Poughkeepsie, NY. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and NYS licensed.
• 1–5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in-office for patient visits and procedures.
• Perform hospital rounds on new consults and follow-ups.
• Obtain patient history, perform physicals and document in EMR.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests per protocol guidelines.
• Develop patient education plans and coordinate care.
• Prescribe and administer therapies; refer to specialists when needed.
• Ensure timely documentation and coding of visits; participate in quality review.
