Job summary

Palo Alto Mind Body is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Interventional Psychiatry Clinic in California. This role supports interventional treatments, patient management, and policy development in a satellite office environment.

Ideal candidates have strong psychiatric interest, exceptional patient care, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time or part-time on-site opportunity in Modesto and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Master in Physician Assistant Studies or higher.
• Active California PA license required.
• DEA/CDS license required.
• Current NCCPA board certification.
• BLS/ACLS Certification preferred.
• Psychiatry CAQ preferred.
• Prior experience managing psychiatric patients and treatments.
• Ability to provide psychiatric care independently in outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of all elements and staff for interventional treatments (training provided).
• Direct management of patients in interventional psychiatry.
• Manage consents for new patients.
• Conduct E/M for interventional treatments and medication management.
• Perform patient assessments and deliver care per professional standards.
• Assist in policy, procedure, and protocol development.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.
