Job summary

McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC is seeking an Intensivist APP (PA) for day and night shifts to join our critical care team.

You will work within a multidisciplinary, patient-centered unit with a collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality care. New graduates are welcome; experience in critical care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• SC Certification as Physician Assistant is required.
• Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Assesses patient needs based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data.
• Records physical findings and formulates plans and prognosis.
• Plans, implements, and coordinates care to meet age-specific needs of patients.
• Fosters an environment of caring, compassion, and respect for patients and families.
• Demonstrates professionalism and integrity.
• Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within clinician guidelines.
• Discusses cases with physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive care plans.

Intensivist APP (PA), day shift and night shift available - location: Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical center, a tertiary care center and a Major referral center in the area with four intensive care units and a 24/7 staffing model by both physicians and advanced practice providers is looking for a motivated APP to join their team of critical care providers. The ideal candidate would have experience in a critical area setting although new graduates are welcome to apply. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team.
