One year of training in the appropriate specialty is preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is recommended. Must be currently licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas. Must maintain current AHA BLS or higher in accordance with Medical-Dental Staff and UMA bylaws.
