The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to support the cardiac surgery ICU and step-down units on a per diem basis.

You will work closely with cardiac surgeons and ICU staff to provide comprehensive patient care, including histories, exams, orders, prescriptions, and plan development. Applicants should have a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies, an MA PA license, and at least two years' experience in cardiac surgery or a related specialty.

• Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of PA experience in cardiac surgery or related field.

The BWH Cardiac Surgery Service is a 24/7 PA run service.The per diem rate is $93.50Summary:The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider. The PA is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. May also perform additional duties, such as precepting a small group of learners.Does this position require Patient Care?
