Job summary

This position may include on-call duties and rotating shifts. Applicants must possess a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (or related master's degree) and a current PA license; NCCPA certification and CME are required to maintain licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• Current, active Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA board certification and ongoing CME requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services in outpatient settings.
• Identifies illnesses and manages preventive aspects of care.
• Familiarizes self with community health needs and orients stakeholders on health issues.
• Precepts and teaches other health care workers and students.
