Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Physician Assistant for General & Multispecialty Surgery in the downtown Fort Worth, TX area. The PA will work with a team of surgeons in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing pre- and post-operative assessments and assisting in the operating room.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PA program, PA certification, and Texas licensure; a Master's degree is preferred. Full benefits, CME, and professional support are included.

Texas Health Physicians Group - the Texas Health Resources physician organization is pleased to announce an opening for a General Surgery and Subspecialty Physician Assistant in the downtown Fort Worth, Texas area. This a great opportunity to join a team of highly trained surgeons committed to one purpose: providing patients with the most comprehensive, quality, and compassionate surgical care during all phases of their surgical experience.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Full time schedule Monday-Friday with shared call.
• Support General, Colorectal, Foregut & HPB surgeons with both OR assist and clinical
• Full Benefits Package including health, life, vision, dental, 401K, CME and malpractice
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
• Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families

REQURIMENTS:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• PA Certification and Texas license required.

The Physician Assistant ('PA') will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required.

The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The PA's duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
