Penn State Health Surgical Services is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join a fast-paced surgical team in Reading, PA. The APP will perform in the perioperative and inpatient continuum, exercising advanced clinical judgment within a collaborative team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an AMA approved PA program with national certification and BLS, prepared to thrive in a dynamic environment and participate in ongoing professional growth.

Competenze

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment.
• National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Surgical Services Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role offers the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced surgical environment where no two days are the same. APPs in this role are trusted members of the surgical team, using advanced clinical judgment, procedural skills, and independent decision-making to care for complex patients across the perioperative and inpatient continuum. The position is well suited for clinicians who thrive in dynamic environments, value autonomy and teamwork, and are looking for a role that offers broad clinical exposure, meaningful responsibility, and continued professional growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
• National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
