PeaceHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant or Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join the General Surgery team at St. John Medical Center in Longview, WA. The clinician will assist in the hospital, perform rounds and discharge planning, and contribute to outpatient clinic work.

The Opportunity

PeaceHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant or Surgical Nurse Practitioner to work with our General Surgery team at the PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington. Clinician will work in the hospital first assisting, rounding and discharging as well as doing outpatient clinic work. Prefer candidates with experience in surgery (including breast surgery), hospital rounding and post-operative wound care.

Compensation, Benefits & Balance

• Starting salary based on years of experience: $158,017 - $187,304 annually + annual bonuses

The Practice

• 4-day work week with flexibility
• Join 4 General Surgeons, 6 Trauma Surgeons and 2 Physician Assistants
• General Surgery practice includes Trauma/ACS rounding and post-operative wound care
• Davinci Xi robot
• Exceptional anesthesia support
• 6 ORs staffed on a regular basis
• Current Physician Assistant intercepts calls to the clinic for triage with the surgeons; no nights or weekends currently required
