Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification and maintenance with CME/recertification.
• Active PA license in the United States or territory.
• Specialized experience: 1+ year as certified PA with history taking, exams, minor procedures, labs/imaging, and prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and modify the plan of acute and chronically ill patients.
• Perform duties involving isolating and defining unknown medical conditions.
• Collect detailed medical histories for clinical evaluations.
• Determine need for and order labs, X-rays, and other procedures.
• Write prescriptions and dispense medications, including controlled substances.
• Perform outpatient surgical and non-surgical procedures per credentials.
• Diagnose and manage medical conditions with appropriate care.
• Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients.
• Educate patients on disease processes and diagnostic tests.
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned.
