Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging in Washington seeks a Physician Assistant to join a team of radiology providers focused on patient-centered care across outpatient and inpatient settings, with primary fluoroscopy duties and image-guided procedures.

The role supports radiologists, works across Pierce and South King County sites, requires flexibility, strong procedural skills, and travel between facilities with travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current Washington licensure to practice as a PA.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• Experience with radiologic or procedural medicine preferred.
• Strong procedural competence and interest in needle-based and fluoroscopic studies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Coordinates care with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff.
• Performs comprehensive physical examinations; diagnoses and treats patients; develops and carries out treatment plans under physician supervision.
• Conducts pre-procedure evaluations, obtains informed consents, and provides post-procedure follow-up care as appropriate.
• Performs fluoroscopic and needle-based procedures and assists with related patient management tasks.
• Documents procedure-related notes accurately and in compliance with standards.
• Participates in scheduling and quality improvement initiatives.
