• Bachelor's Degree in a Physician Assistant Program.
• Two years of experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, take histories, record results, and determine follow-up procedures.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, ECGs, and blood work.
• Perform therapeutic procedures including immunizations, injections, suturing, wound care, and infection control.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, educate and counsel patients.
• Prescribe medications within state guidelines and clinic regulations.
• Provide general health education on nutrition, family planning, and daily living health topics.
• Assist physicians with emergency treatments and more complex procedures as needed.
• Monitor patients through visits and post-surgery follow-ups when applicable.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure infection-control compliance.
• Stay updated with professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
